Our client is a prominent law firm known for its extensive expertise in executive compensation and employee benefits. They provide a wide range of services, including strategic tax planning, ERISA litigation, and comprehensive advice on health and welfare benefits. Their team of attorneys, benefits consultants, and actuaries work closely to deliver exceptional service to their clients.

The Executive Compensation & Benefits Associate will:

  • Handle executive compensation and employee benefits aspects of private equity and public company transactions.
  • Provide legal advice on executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
  • Assist in designing and administering executive compensation plans.
  • Draft and review employment agreements and related documents.
  • Conduct legal research on relevant laws and industry trends.
  • Advise on compliance with federal and state laws, including ERISA and tax regulations.
  • Negotiate and draft executive employment contracts.
  • Collaborate with tax and corporate practice groups for comprehensive client representation.

Package and Benefits:

The Executive Compensation & Benefits Associate will enjoy:

  • Annual salary ranging from $260,000 to $420,000.

The ideal Executive Compensation & Benefits Associate will have:

  • A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice in New York or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
  • 3-7 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Experience in M&A-related transactional benefits work.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
