As a Credit Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough credit risk assessments for bridging loan applications.

  • Managing a pipeline of bridging cases and prioritising effectively.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

  • Developing risk mitigation strategies for potential default scenarios.
  • Contributing to the development of credit policies and procedures.
  • Providing mentorship and support to junior credit analysts.

About You

The ideal Credit Manager will have:

  • Proven experience in an underwriter, junior underwriter or credit manager role within the bridging finance sector.
  • Exceptional understanding of credit risk assessment, underwriting, and portfolio management.
  • In-depth knowledge of bridging finance products and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with credit risk analysis tools and financial modelling techniques.
  • Excellent methodical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities.
