About the Role

Fintelligent is partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit a US-qualified Associate into its London Capital Markets team.

This is a rare opportunity to join a truly integrated transatlantic ECM platform, working alongside English, US, French and German-qualified lawyers on some of the most complex and high-profile equity capital markets transactions globally. The team is particularly known for advising European and emerging markets issuers on major international offerings, often in coordination with broader debt, banking and M&A practices.

The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing cross-border team advising on sophisticated equity offerings across multiple jurisdictions and market structures.

What You'll Do

  • Advise clients on a broad range of equity capital markets transactions, including:
    • Initial Public Offerings (IPOs)
    • Placings
    • Rights issues
    • Secondary equity offerings
    • Other listed equity financings
  • Support integrated transactions alongside debt capital markets, banking and M&A teams.
  • Draft, review and negotiate key transaction documentation.
  • Provide advice on regulatory compliance, governance and market practice in equity capital markets.
  • Deliver strategic, commercially focused legal advice to issuers and stakeholders.
  • Manage and develop client relationships across cross-border mandates.
  • Work closely with international teams to deliver seamless execution across jurisdictions.
  • Contribute to transaction structuring and execution for European and emerging markets issuers.
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of high-profile capital markets transactions.

What We're Looking For

  • Approximately 2–4 years' post-qualification experience as a US-qualified lawyer.
  • Strong ECM experience gained at a top-tier US law firm.
  • Experience advising on equity capital markets transactions for European and/or emerging markets issuers.
  • Excellent drafting and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical understanding of ECM products and transaction structures.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in fast-paced, cross-border environments.
  • Strong client service orientation with commercial awareness.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple jurisdictions and practice groups.
  • Excellent academic record.

Compensation

Compensation is highly competitive and aligned with leading international law firm market rates.

The package includes a discretionary year-end bonus and a comprehensive benefits offering, including private medical insurance, life assurance, enhanced family leave, travel insurance, wellness benefits, season ticket loan, gym allowance and extensive professional development opportunities.
