About the Opportunity

Fintelligent is working with a leading global law firm to hire a talented Debt Finance Associate to join its highly regarded Energy & Infrastructure practice in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value financing transactions across a broad range of sectors, including renewable energy, oil & gas, conventional power, and digital infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate a range of financing documents, including credit agreements, note purchase agreements, and security documentation
  • Support domestic and cross-border debt finance transactions
  • Review and advise on commercial and project-related agreements
  • Work closely with sponsors, lenders, and investors on acquisition and project financings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across large-scale infrastructure and energy projects

Candidate Profile

  • 2–6 years’ post-qualification experience in debt finance at a leading national or international law firm
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating core financing documents
  • Exposure to energy and infrastructure transactions preferred
  • Experience in acquisition finance (particularly within energy/infrastructure) is advantageous
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills
  • Admission to the New York and/or DC Bar preferred
