This is an outstanding opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level finance lawyer to join a market-leading team advising on some of the largest, most complex and innovative cross-border financing transactions in Europe. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of financing products, with a particular focus on leveraged and acquisition finance as well as digital infrastructure transactions.

Working within a highly collaborative international platform, the role offers the opportunity to advise banks, financial sponsors and corporate borrowers on sophisticated financing structures while working closely with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions.

What You'll Do

  • Advise clients on a broad range of financing transactions, including:
    • Leveraged and acquisition financings
    • Private credit facilities
    • Syndicated senior and second lien facilities
    • Asset-based lending (ABL) facilities
    • Holdco PIK financings
    • Fund financings
    • Digital infrastructure financings
  • Support sponsors, lenders and corporate borrowers on complex cross-border transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate commitment papers, facility agreements and intercreditor documentation.
  • Advise on English law security packages and financing structures.
  • Work closely with M&A, private equity, restructuring and capital markets teams on integrated transactions.
  • Assist with bridge-to-bond and other financing structures involving debt capital markets products.
  • Manage transaction workstreams and coordinate cross-border deal execution.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through direct client interaction.
  • Participate in business development and marketing initiatives to support practice growth.
  • Work closely with partners and senior lawyers to develop technical and commercial expertise.

What We're Looking For

  • Approximately 2–5 years' PQE gained within a leading London finance practice or comparable common law jurisdiction.
  • Experience advising on leveraged finance, acquisition finance or related banking transactions.
  • Understanding of leveraged capital structures and loan products.
  • Experience acting for financial sponsors, lenders or corporate borrowers.
  • Exposure to drafting and negotiating finance documentation, including commitment papers and loan agreements.
  • Solid grounding in English law security arrangements.
  • Infrastructure finance experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to client service.
  • Strong academic credentials and a genuine interest in developing a long-term finance practice.

Compensation

Compensation is highly competitive and aligned with leading international law firm market rates.

The package includes a discretionary year-end bonus and a comprehensive benefits offering, including private medical insurance, life assurance, enhanced family leave, wellness benefits, travel insurance and extensive professional development support.
