About the role
Fintelligent is partnering with a top-tier global law firm to identify a talented Securitization Associate for their finance practice group in New York. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly regarded team advising on complex, market-leading transactions across the full spectrum of structured finance.
What you'll do
- Structure, negotiate, and document a wide range of securitization transactions, including CLOs and whole business securitizations
- Conduct due diligence and review transaction-related legal documents
- Research and analyse legal issues specific to securitization and structured finance
- Prepare and review offering materials and disclosure documents
- Collaborate cross-functionally with clients and attorneys across practice areas
- Support the development of junior associates within the group
- Monitor regulatory and market developments in structured finance
What we're looking for
- 3–5 years of experience at a large or global law firm in structured finance and securitization
- Exposure to representing issuers, sponsors, borrowers, and lenders in securitization transactions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- J.D. from an accredited law school with a strong academic record
- Active admission to the New York Bar in good standing
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and in line with large law firm market rates for the New York market. Full details will be disclosed during the process.
