As a Bridging Underwriter, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Assessing and underwriting bridging finance applications from start to finish.
  • Conducting thorough due diligence on borrowers, assets, and exit strategies.
  • Preparing and presenting cases for Credit Committee approval with clear analysis.
  • Collaborating with brokers, solicitors, valuers, and internal teams for smooth deal progression.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks while maintaining a commercial approach.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of underwriting processes and policies.
