We are placing on behalf of a leading global law firm a mid-level Corporate Real Estate Associate to join their New York office. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions within a highly regarded practice group, advising institutional clients on complex real estate matters across the capital stack.

What you'll work on

• Structuring and negotiating real estate joint ventures across a range of asset classes and capital structures
• Sale and purchase transactions involving real estate portfolios, including due diligence and closing mechanics
• Advising on CRE finance, fund formation, and M&A transactions with real estate components
• Drafting and negotiating JV agreements, operating agreements, acquisition documents, and related ancillaries
• Working directly with senior partners on high-value, multi-jurisdictional matters

What you'll bring

• Real estate joint venture experience is essential — gained within a CRE/RE practice, M&A group, or private investment funds team
• 4th–6th year associate (or equivalent); candidates will be considered based on relevant experience
• Strong academic background and admission to the New York Bar
• Experience with real estate portfolio acquisitions and dispositions is a strong advantage
• Ability to manage multiple transactions independently while collaborating across practice groups
