Complex case ownership | Flexible hybrid working | Specialist lending environment | High-impact recoveries work

If you’re experienced in arrears, recoveries, or litigation within financial services, this Litigation and Recoveries Specialist opportunity offers the chance to manage complex cases where your judgement and commercial decision-making genuinely matter. You’ll take ownership of high-risk accounts while working closely with senior stakeholders in a specialist lending environment.

This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, balancing commercial outcomes with customer considerations, and working autonomously within a collaborative team. You’ll be trusted to make informed recommendations, contribute to process improvements, and play a visible role within a growing recoveries function.

Package & Benefits

• Salary up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• Flexible hybrid working with 2-3 days working from home.
• Opportunity to work within a growing specialist lender with an established market presence.

About the Company

You’ll be joining an established specialist lender with a strong reputation within the UK property finance market. The business is known for its collaborative culture, long-term approach, and commitment to delivering high standards across both customer service and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex arrears and litigation cases, recommending suitable recovery and exit strategies.
• Liaise with borrowers, legal representatives, receivers, and internal stakeholders to progress cases effectively.
• Review borrower affordability, asset positions, and supporting documentation to minimise losses and optimise outcomes.
• Support ongoing improvements to recoveries processes, reporting, and early identification of potential bad debts.

About You

• Experience within litigation, recoveries, arrears, or collections in financial services or specialist lending.
• Ability to manage complex borrower cases involving financial difficulty and legal escalation.
• Experience working with legal processes, external partners, and recovery strategies within a regulated environment.

If you’d like to explore this opportunity, even if your CV isn’t fully up to date, we’d love to speak with you. Contact Fintelligent for more information or a confidential discussion.
