£140,000 OTE | Established property development lender | High-value lending exposure | Direct impact on growth

If you’re an experienced Lending Director looking for greater ownership of origination and the opportunity to work on high-quality property development transactions, this role offers a £95,000–£100,000 basic salary with £140,000 OTE.

You’ll have autonomy to develop intermediary and developer relationships, structure lending opportunities and take transactions from initial assessment through credit and completion. You’ll work closely with experienced Credit, Legal, Finance and Development Monitoring teams.

About the Company

Join one of the UK’s leading property development lenders, with a track record of financing over £1bn of transactions supporting developers. The business combines specialist lending expertise with established credit, legal and development monitoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate new lending opportunities through relationships with intermediaries and direct developer contacts.

  • Assess, structure and complete due diligence on property development lending proposals within agreed credit, pricing and risk parameters.

  • Prepare and present detailed credit applications, including risk assessments, sensitivity analysis and commercial rationale.

  • Drive transactions through credit approval, legal documentation and completion, while remaining involved with loans throughout their lifecycle.

About You

  • Significant experience originating and executing property development finance transactions.

  • Experience structuring lending proposals and producing detailed credit applications within an established credit framework.

  • Experience managing property lending transactions from initial assessment and due diligence through to completion.
